Editorial Policy

                                            NOTICE

We are going quarterly!. Effective on 30 March Notes From Underground will be operating under a new policy. On that date the current issue of Notes will be archived. A new issue will be posted on 1 April. That issue will be replaced with a new issue on 1 July. And so forth thereafter. All new material submitted after the appearance of the new issue will be held for publication in the following issue.

Our April issue will contain thoughtful discussions on the subject of ant slavery (dulosis).

Remember – the vitality of Notes From Underground depends on our readers/members. If we receive no articles, thoughts for discussion, travel/collecting reports, observations, etc., we will have some pretty skimpy issues. So, send what you have and keep Notes going. Have you read a good or bad book about ants? Let us have your review or opinion. We would be delighted to receive genuine folk tales about ants, particularly from non-Eurocentric cultures. Surely Aesop & Solomon weren’t the only ones who had something to say about ants!
