| Well
folks here it is the July issue of Notes from Underground, and
guess what there's not a whole lot to see I am sorry to say.
We did get a couple of guess's for the Name that ant and member,
Nugroho
Budianggoro sent in a few wonderful pictures, but so far that
is it for July. Come on folks let have some material
for the October issue.
I have cleaned up the info needed
and specimens needed section, if you had a request there that
is still active let me know and I can restore it.
Remember
– the vitality of Notes From Underground depends on our
readers/members. If we receive no articles, thoughts for discussion,
travel/collecting reports, observations, etc., we will have
some pretty skimpy issues. So, send what you have and keep Notes
going. Have you read a good or bad book about ants? Let us have
your review or opinion. We would be delighted to receive genuine
folk tales about ants, particularly from non-Eurocentric cultures.
Surely Aesop & Solomon weren’t the only ones who had
something to say about ants!
Finally a bit of business that
I find rather distasteful, I have tried to avoid the need to
ask for donations to help keep the site running. If you want
to see "Notes" continue on and grow as it has been,
please consider helping out financially with the up keep of
the site. Please remember contributions are totally voluntary
and in no way required to keep your name on the subscription
list, but are necessary to keep "Notes" alive and
healthy. To all of those who have been able to help a huge thank
you.
